I guess Jesus decided to call the whole thing off at the last minute, in a manner presumably similar to a twelve year old trying to throw a surprise party and giving up because "you totally spoiled the surprise, you jerk!" right before kicking Harold Whats-his-name in the shins and running off.

On another topic, God it's weird to be back. I'm pretty sure I would have run out of words on Facebook by now, and it's making me surprisingly happy that I can rabbit on for (mostly) as long as I like. Also, wouldn't it totally be something-like-irony-but-not-quite if I started up my LJ again and then the Rapture happened?

Okay, what's new in my life . . . well, what isn't? Found out I liked girls (or rather, one particular girl, who may be joining Lifejournal in her own time), moved out of the spare room of my BFF, had a massive blowing out with aforementioned BFF (very long, very tedious story about cutting and attention-seeking behaviours, just pretend I whined in your ear for an hour about Histrionic Personality Disorder) and moved into a gorgeous one-bedroom flat with also aforementioned girlfriend. It's so beautiful -we're one of eight different flats that used to be an old homestead, but got divided up into individual spaces. I love Old Queenslanders so much.

Fandom-wise, I'm kinda obsessed with Final Fantasy VII, especially since I've gotten massively into cosplay (can't remember if that happened before or after I lost internet). I'm the photographer for the Cosplay Brigade and all the pictures here without a watermark were taken by yours truly. (That's the GF's Devianart, tell me what you think of her Reno ;D)

I have a feeling this is kinda a convoluted mess of an info-dump, but all I can do is throw myself on the mercy of the court and promise that I'll get back in the swing, eventually . . . And also, that I intend to finish the Twilight MST, I swear. I refuse to leave that beast un-assailed. Hopefully, hating Twilight hasn't become obsolete just yet ^^;

So how's y'all doin'? Seriously though, what's been happening with everyone? How're all your fandoms doing? And . . . *looks down* Wait, how're you supposed to repost to Twitter? In a million 140-character chunks? New LJ is going to take some getting used to, methinks.

So, I'm finally back. Internet has been restored to my (newly moved into) house and the whole world is golden. So . . . what's new? ;D

Guess who? I'd give you the usual round of apologies, but you know them all already. Suffice it to say that I've been through one job, gained another and my computer suffered a power surge that killed it (temporarily), reduced it to the speed of a sleepy octogenarian (less temporarily) and has led to me concluding that what I really need is a computer that isn't on its last legs. Any and all donations to the $700 project of Give Me A New Computer That Can Run Media Player And Solitaire Without Crashing gratefully accepted ;P

Since our lovely Lulu-chan is still unbroken, he'll be hanging around for a little longer -

Lelouch: Not if I have anything to say about it.

Cass: You don't.

Along with my roommate, Cassandra, aka marigoldsthorn , who will be helping me to actually get through this thing in one piece.

Lelouch: And who'll be helping me get through this in one piece?

Cass: Your momma.

Lelouch: My mother?

EmeryBoard: Oh smeg.

Lelouch: My mother?!

Cass: What's the big deal?

EmeryBoard: There are certain anime characters you don't make 'your momma' jokes about. Shingi from EVA, Ichigo from Bleach, Sephiroth from FFVII -

Cass: And Lelouch from Code Geass?

EmeryBoard: Exacta.

Lelouch: MY MOTHER?!

EmeryBoard: Oh, look! Suzaku in a cheerleader's uniform!

Lelouch: MY -where?!

And now, the MST.

Chapter 11, Part 2Collapse )

Hope you liked, sorry for the delay -hopefully, I'll be a little more prompt now things have settled down a bit. Be warned though, the computer as it stands right now is not exactly reliable, but fingers crossed!

Just a quick note on my phone to say I have not given up on the Twilight MST. I've just had a lot happen lately, so everything's been kinda crazy. But assuming I start work done tonight, I should have it up in the next few days.

Until then!

OMG will you look at that -another update! Yeah, appreciate the regular updates while they last, people. Speaking of which, anyone got any preferences for characters you'd like to see MST with me? I'll consider anyone, as long as I think I can get a handle on their personality.

Light: Please, suggest someone -anyone. I don't think I can handle much more of this.

Lelouch: Does she have pictures of you too?

Light: Who are you? Where's the Master?

EmeryBoard: Compassionate leave.

Light: I don't know why I stand for this.

EmeryBoard: Because L's not the only one with access to the footage while you were incarcerated.

Light: If I had my Death Note . . .

Lelouch: I am Lelouch vi Britannia and I command you -

Light: *scribbles* L-e-l-o-u-c -

EmeryBoard: *smacks both with newspapers* Bad megalomaniacs! No cookies!

For those not in the know, Lelouch is a purple-eyed brunette from Code Geass, who gestures flamboyantly and can control people with his eyes. It’s less kinky than it sounds -but not much. Light is a brown-eyed brunette from Death Note, who gestures flamboyantly and can kill people with his Death Note. It's even less kinky than it sounds -unless you read the fanfic.

Light and Lelouch: I do not gesture flamboyantly!

EmeryBoard: *eyeroll* And with great reluctance -the MST.

Chapter 11, Part 1Collapse )

EmeryBoard: What would you possibly want to ask Bella?

Light: "Why do you forget to breathe so often?"

Lelouch: "Why do you enjoy being treated like a 12th century maid?"

All these questions are more will be flagrantly ignored in the next instalment of Twilight: Bella Moons Over Edward And Pretends That Passes For Plot!

Okay, starting from the beginning. Hallos to all you peoples! I have returned, through rain, sleet and snow -or the RL equivalents anyway (moving house, having no nets and massive drama llamas) to bring you the second half of the Twilight MST: chapter 10.

This is so late I am not even going to bother excusing it, except to say that you can all thank Silver Pard, who is one of my all-time favourite fanfic authors and reminded me that this was still running at all. If you're Silver Pard and reading this OMG I WANTS UR BABIEZ!!1! thanks very much for the reminder (and also for writing one of the best Twilight-related things ever).

Okay, now that's out of the way, let's dive right in. To celebrate the kick-start of my MST, I have with me today Light, from Death Note:

Light: Just when I thought I'd escaped, she drags me back. Damn you, Silver Pard!

and the Master, from Doctor Who.

the Master: *lip curls* You can't do anything without me, can you?

Welcome back to the MST, everyone -abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

I would recommend you at least run your eyes over the last half-chapter to remind yourselves of recent events, but there's not really all that much of a need. Nothing has happened. We are more than ten chapters into this book and not a single thing has happened that will bring the plot forward in any sense, meaningful or otherwise. I haven't even started reading yet and I already hate this book again.
Chapter 10 Part 2Collapse )

Well, there we go. Hope you guys enjoyed. The next one should be up by this time next week, if my schedule stays about the same.

Geez. It's been a while, hasn't it? Tonnes of stuff's happened to me and I bet you guys -assuming any of you are still watching my journal -have had lots of changes and stuff as well. But we will get into that later.

For now, this is a friendly PSA to say that I am back, and Twilight MSTing is going on as we speak. Or as I type. Well, not right this second, more as soon as I finish . . . yeah, you get the idea.

Hope there are still alive people out there! *waves*

I'm finally back with more. All I can offer by way of an excuse is that I really do not like Twilight. And also TAFE.

So, since Arty and Butler went down so well last time, they're back this week!

Cass: Wow, you broke their brains already? Normally, it takes a couple of chapters before they're actually willing to dish on a chapter with you.

EmeryBoard: Aurum potestas est, my dear Cassandra.

Cass: What?

Artemis: A tonne of gold. A metric tonne.

Cass: Can you actually do that?

EmeryBoard: And then Holly decided that it was only right to pay Artemis the gold she'd promised him, and after many dangerous adventures, deposited half a metric tonne of gold in his main bank vault, the other half to be received after services rendered.

Artemis: *checks bank balance*

Butler: *restrains patience*

Artemis: That will do admirably for starters. Now, let us begin.

Chapter 10, Part 1Collapse )

Okay, the update will hopefully be coming sooner, but no promises. I usually break them anyway. But I will try.

Sorry to everyone. This is just a quick note to explain my absence, since I've had a couple of people asking if I have left the land of the living.

My course works like this -end of October/early November are the final assessments, with three weeks of Practical where we are all seeded out to various nursing homes. After that, we come back for a week, share what we've learned and take one last test before we're done. So while I imagine most courses won't really start gearing up until mid-November, my Cert III in Aged Care is . . .well, not.

That being said, I have about half a MST done which I will try to finish tonight after my resume and Palliative Care workbook have been dealt with. No promises -but I will try.
